		Multicolor Basket Weave Kitchen Towels I had so many requests for these towels once people saw the draft, that I made a batch of 18 of them. That was a 19 yard warp, about as long as I can manage with my equipment. I love the dimensional look of these towels. They were a little more time consuming to weave than most of my batches, but actually very enjoyable. All the towels I make are 100% cotton. As with all my woven goods, they are designed for use. The more you use and wash and dry these towels, the softer and more absorbent they become. They are durable enough for you to enjoy for many years, and will look great hanging in your kitchen or even as hand towels in your powder room (a pair makes a very nice gift, too). I do all my own weaving, finishing, and designing, and enjoy every step. The ends of each towel have a double folded hem for durability. 		Retro Stripes Kitchen Towels These towels remind me of my kitchen when I was growing up. I think those towels didn't have this many colors, but they did have the white and black separating the colors.They are woven in a sturdy twill, as the majority of my towels are. Nice and absorbent! 		Retro Stripes and Strips Kitchen Towels These towels are part of the same batch as the retro stripes. After a while I got tired of weaving white with no breaks, so I added a stripe of one of the colors from the towel. The two towels go together nicely and it's just a slightly different look. 		Big Blocks of Color Kitchen Towels A little bit different than many of my towels, I used two or three shades of the same color for each block. 		Random Checks Kitchen Towels This is the last towel in a batch of my "weft-over" towels. These are always very colorful towels, using the leftover thread on my bobbins from the previous several batches. I never quite know what these batches will look like, but they're always colorful! 		Colorful Plaid with Black Kitchen Towels This is the last towel in a large batch of these colorful plaids. I think the thin stripes of black set the color off very nicely. 		Raised White Twill Kitchen Towels Occasionally, I make a batch of these thicker twill towels. A nice change for people to have. I've been told some people like them as hand towels in their bathrooms. So for the kitchen or bathroom, they're a bit thicker and very absorbent. This is the last towel from this batch. Brand New Item! I weave a lot of towels - all 100% cotton, in all sorts of colors and patterns. And with each batch, I end up with a little leftover piece of weaving that's not big enough to be a towel. For a long time, I've kept them in a bin and added to it after each batch. Finally, a few months ago, I decided to make use of them, so this is the first thing I came up with - functional, adorable little bitty zipper bags!

Each little bag is fully lined, with a coordinating zipper with tabs at the top and bottom to make them easy to open and close. I added a coordinating little carabiner to each one so they can hang from a purse, backpack, laptop case or whatever else you can think of. They're perfect as a little coin purse, or to hold a pair of earbuds or other little items. Around the house, they're handy for sewing clips, paper clips, pony tail bands, earrings, etc. They also make a nice little gift, with or without something extra inside. Think how cute they'd be hanging on a Christmas tree, each one holding a tiny gift within!
